Holsey Chapel's clothing ministry was established honoring God’s commandment to help those in need. The mission of this ministry is to serve individuals at their point of need—helping in whatever area the need is found. The clothing ministry is a nonprofit organization and all items are free, offered at no cost to those in need. We offer clothes for men, women, and children of all ages.
Who may receive clothing?
Anyone is welcome to receive clothing from the Clothes Closet! There are no economic requirements.
What are the costs?
All clothing is offered free of charge. Persons in need are simply asked to take what they can use for themselves and their families.
What is available?
Clothing is available for children (sizes newborn - young adult), and adults. We have a special section for junior sizes, plus sizes, and limited maternity wear. Shoes and outerwear are also available in the Clothes Closet.
How can I make an appointment?
Appointments can be made by calling the church office at (229) 423-7785 or by contact Mrs. Jennifer Turner at (229) 423-5168.
How can I help?
We’re always looking for volunteers to assist during appointments. Some items such as new underwear (in all sizes), socks, toiletries and plus size clothing (for men and women) are always accepted. Please contact us at (229) 423-7785 if you are interested in volunteering or have questions about donations.
