HOLSEY CHAPEL--"A Beacon of Hope for the Community"

Stewards are persons recommended each year by the Pastor-in-Charge and confirmed by the Quarterly Conference. Stewards are required to receive all monies and give an account. The Stewards also oversee monies spent by the church. Stewards also seek out the sick, needy and disorderly and give a report to the Pastor for further assistance. Other duties include attending official meetings, communion assistance and providing financial reports to quarterly and church conference.

The Trustees, as a Board, shall hold all property, real personal and mixed owned by the charge; and other such property as may be committed to their keeping. The Trustees shall be responsible to the Quarterly Conference which shall have the power to dismiss them or to remove them as individuals or as a Board when dismissal or removal will serve the best interest to the C.M.E. Church. The Trustees duties are many. You may review the Book of Discipline for detailed duties.
