Music is being used now more than ever before to create a spirit of worship within a congregation as well as an intimate and personal way of communicating to God. When we truly worship God, we allow Him to come down, enter our hearts, and reflect out through us. The Holsey Chapel Mass Choir seeks to lead our church body into that spirit of worship through its extensive repertoire of music which includes, but is not limited to, hymns, spirituals, anthems, gospel, and praise. The Mass Choir is a compilation of each division in the Music Ministry—all choir unit for a collective worship offering. This diverse choir is dedicated to leading people into a worship experience that will honor God, bring people into His presence, and give Him the glory for it all as they, too, experience His power to transform lives.
The Mass Choir invites all who desire to serve in the music ministry to join us. We sing to glorify God and it is Him that we prayerfully seek to draw attention to. Music is therefore to be governed by sound theology, and used to edify, convict and challenge believers in Christ to live holy and victorious lives for God. Singers do not need to have prior musical or choral training/skills, only a desire to serve God and a love for singing. Practices are held on Friday prior to the First Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in the
