Since the inception of Holsey Chapel Church, the Senior Choir has the distinction of being the oldest (original) choir of the church.  Its main purpose has been to render hymns, spirituals, and gospel for the worship services and special observances.  The singers are dedicated volunteers from all walks of life.  The common thread binding them together is a love and desire to sing God’s praises.

The Senior Choir has had several outstanding directors and organists. The legacy of the Senior Choir continues to flourish under the artistic direction of Annie Pearl Stepherson.  Under her leadership, the Senior Choir maintains its tradition of rendering traditional gospel that has become its hallmark in worship services throughout the Fitzgerald area and the CME Connection.  In addition, she has included inspirational, contemporary and praise songs in the Choir’s repertoire.  The Senior Choir is accompanied by Annie Pearl Stepherson on the piano and the inimitable organist, Charles Coney; Thelma Graham is its president.  The Choir provides worship support on each second Sunday.
